How to Install Fully Patched Alpha Centauri

  1. Install Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire, for example from GOG
  2. Download and install Yitzi 3.5 patch. This patch fixes a bunch of bugs. Details
  3. Download and install Yitzi 3.5d patch
  4. Download and install PRACX 1.11 UI mod. This patch enhances the resolution, scrolling, zooming and overlays
  5. Download and unpack Fixed SMAX 2.0 Sound Files to the "fx" game folder
  6. Edit "Alpha Centauri.ini" in the game files and add the following to the top:
